Daniel P. Wagner

This looks like a fine place to auger.

Dan Wagner has worked as a consulting pedologist throughout Eastern North America, Central America, and the Caribbean for 30 years.  In recent years he has increasingly concentrated his efforts in pedoarchaeological studies  involving paleogeographic analyses of prehistoric sites emphasizing Holocene depositional and soil weathering sequences as well as evolving environmental conditions.  one of his more recent of projects involved the eolian soil stratigraphy at the pre-Clovis Cactus Hill Site. Dan is president of Geo-Sci Consultants, Inc. and part-time faculty at Johns Hopkins University where he has taught an environmental soils course for 14 years.
